If you need a mortgage to buy your new home, then your mortgage lender will normally require a valuation to be carried out. However, this valuation is NOT a survey, but an assessment of the security of the property for loan purposes for the benefit of the lender.

  • The RICS HomeBuyer Report
    Also aimed at conventional properties, this report is more detailed than the Condition Report and also includes a market valuation for the property.     

  • The Building Survey
    The full Building Survey is best for larger, older or run-down properties, or where the building is has been altered. It provides detailed information about the structure and fabric of the property including any issues which may require further investigation.
