The first quarter of 2012 has seen demand in the residential sales market pick up significantly, with Townends estate agents, part of the Badger Holdings Group, reporting a 27% increase in sales versus the same period last year. Despite this improved sentiment, there is no doubt that the dream of home-ownership remains a challenge for many and so with the ratio of home-ownership to renters continuing to diminish, demand in the lettings arena also remains strong. Following the Badger Holdings annual awards ceremony, held at Beaumont House in Old Windsor in February, the winners of the coveted top awards have just returned from their five day trip to the luxury 5* ski resort of Courchevel, situated in the glamorous heart of Les Trois Vallées, France, where they celebrated on the slopes.
