Each new recruit starts their Townends career with an intensive induction programme which consists of a variety of workshops and 1-1 training at branch. In addition to this, many of our trainees elect to study for the NFOPP Technical Award or an advanced apprenticeship.
Training is on-going at all levels and focuses on technical and knowledge-based skills as well as sales training and regular meetings to share ideas and best practice.
We are very proud of our management academy which has been highly successful at preparing our people for their first positions in management.
