Twickenham also provides easy access to Richmond Park and Bushy Park, as well as many more impressive locations including Orleans House, Marble Hill Park and Radnor Gardens. Running through the centre of the town is the River Thames where you can enjoy lovely walks and take in the views of Eel Pie Island, a major jazz and blues venue in the 1960’s.

Properties in the Twickenham area are mostly Victorian and 1930’s built, along with a number of lovely Georgian riverside homes. Some of the most expensive properties in the area are made up of Georgian terraces, cottages and impressive Edwardian homes and can be found to the east of the town. To the centre of town and out towards the rugby stadium, it is possible to find more variety in terms of size, style and price of property, all of which make Twickenham a great area to buy or rent.

The train station in Twickenham provides frequent services in Zone 5 direct to London Waterloo with journey times taking approximately 19 minutes during rush hour. Frequent bus services run from Richmond where the London Underground District Line operates. Twickenham is also particularly well placed for access to London, the M3 and M25.

Twickenham is a popular suburban town located 10 miles southwest of central London and is most famously known as the home of English rugby.

Twickenham rugby stadium can be found in Whitton in Twickenham and more local to the town centre is the Stoop stadium which is the home of the Harlequins RFC. For those interested in a broader variety of sporting pursuits, Twickenham has a good selection of sports clubs and leisure centres.
