Green space is one of Streatham's greatest assets. The Common is well tended and possesses a lovely terraced garden and the Rookery, which provides an attractive background for the summer theatre. Both Streatham Common and nearby Tooting Bec Common also have sports facilities for tennis, bowling and horse riding.

Streatham's proximity to London has always made it a popular location for commuters. It has fantastic bus routes and is the busiest London linked bus route after Oxford Street. Furthermore, there are three railway stations, Streatham, Streatham Common and Streatham Hill (Zone 3), meaning you're only 15 minutes from Victoria Station and 20 minutes from London Bridge.

Streatham is a popular and sought-after suburb in the borough of Lambeth, neighbouring the affluent Clapham/Wandsworth areas and the ever trendy Brixton.
